“Terrorist groups in Africa may be selling elephant ivory to fund their operations. Their acts are unethical down to their methods of acquiring income. Poaching for monetary gain is already an incredibly detestable act, and to couple it with the funding of terrorism makes it more evident that more needs to be done to hinder and eliminate it.”

On the surface, terrorism and wildlife crime may seem unrelated, but the evidence suggests they are increasingly linked.
